Dr. Douglas shearer

Dr. Shearer has been fortunate to always have animals as a part of his life, from growing up with parents that bred and raised Old English Sheepdogs, to working on the family farm with sheep, cattle and horses. Even during university, the company of a couple cats helped break up the arduous task of studying.

Dr. Shearer grew up in the area, first on a farm south of Lambeth, then on a farm west of Mt Brydges. He was involved in the London Pony Club and various Strathroy 4-H clubs. Growing up, his love of animals developed by being exposed to the unwavering trust and unconditional devotion that animals offer their human companions. The resident cats (2), dogs (2) and gecko allow Dr. Shearer to share their household with his wife and 4 children. When spare time is available Dr. Shearer enjoys mountain biking, skiing/snowboarding and watching his kids do their favorite sports of soccer, swimming and skiing.
